To continue this month’s patriotic celebration I wanted to invite not another service member, but an individual who represents an important piece in military life, the children of service-members.
Lily Rollins is the daughter of a retired U.S. Navy sailor and spent the first half of her life immersed in military culture. She’s moved five times in her short 16-year-old life following her father’s career and supported him, along with her family, through seasons of deployment. Life has not always been sunny for this bright friend, but she always remains optimistic.
I am excited and honored to say that Lily is the first teenager featured on Still With You. In this episode we talk about all the things current in her life; school, friends, God, movies, etc. I am always so impressed by Lily’s authenticity and how she lives to love and serve others. Her heart for Jesus, hardback books, swing dancing, and adventure is simply inspiring. Also, did I mention she is touring Europe this summer? Um, boujee!
Pour a Café au lait and lean in. Lily’s thoughts are something to remember, especially in praying for influential future generation. Welcome to the show my beautiful friend, Lily Rollins.
