CPC-certified Relationship Coach, Isami Daehn 勇美, carries a passion for empowering millennials and GEN-Z through relationship pain to find their voice after estrangement. Why estrangement empowerment? Have you ever though you would head those two words in the same sentence? I have not and neither had Isami.
Being raise in a home where physical and verbal abuse were “normal”, after becoming an adult, moving from Japan to to the United States, Isami’s relationship with her parents did not get any better. It unfortunately grew worse and in 2017 she became permanently estranged from her parents.
After spending most of her life surviving abuse and to fix broken relationships she truly believed she was “not good enough”, still striving to meet someone else’s unrealistic expectations of who she as “supposed to be”. She continually blamed herself for the brokenness she felt.
In my conversation with Isami she shares her story of hard work and healing by discovering her true identity in Jesus Christ. From graves to gardens, she today is free from her from pain and finding new beautiful courage within herself everyday.
My favorite moment in my chat with Isami is how she describes hearing from Holy Spirit. Hold on to your hearts! It moves me to tears every time I listen.🖤
