Has God ever called you to do something and you made every excuse to get out of it? He made no mistake when He asked you and yes, He meant you.

Pastor and podcast host Avery Forrest has experienced this firsthand. As a college athlete God lead her off of the soccer field and into full-time ministry. Feeling unequipped and uncertain of what her future might hold she said yes anyway. Years later she and her husband Todd were drawn to the gulf coast where they planted and pastor Anchor Point Church in Foley, Alabama. I am just giving you the sizzle reel of her story, because their are countless other “yeses” Avery bravely gave to God in obedience like launching her new podcast, “Flourishing with Avery Forrest”. While she will tell you that she drug her feet for a full year before subscribing to the idea of stepping behind a microphone, but there is also a flip side this story. God is always in the process of growing us, even with our excuses.

Just as God asked Avery to lead and be a carrier of His Word He is calling you too to something. Yes, He meant you and whatever that something might be I encourage you to say YES!
